Even before a student steps on one of our vehicles, we require a completed oversight form to be submitted by the school or the parent informing us of the specific needs of the student. Once the form is submitted, a driver is assigned to that student providing consistency and reliability. This one on one relationship alleviates the stress for parents as well as students and is one of many qualities that set EMT apart from the competition.EMT currently operates two customer service call centers equipped with a state of the art phone system, cutting edge dispatch software with GPS mapping capabilities and a team of experienced employees ensuring a smooth, comfortable ride for any type of customer. We are available seven days a week, twenty four hours a day to take your call. In order to ensure the highest level of service, EMT requires a thorough screening of all its drivers. Each driver must undergo a pre-employment drug test, an extensive FBI background check and random drug testing, and clean MVR's. In addition, all drivers must be DOT certified and trained in first aid and CPR. All of our drivers receive 40 hours of classroom and behind-the-wheel training and those handling school transportation must undergo a segment focusing on that. We understand the unique needs of our customers and we make sure our drivers meet our specific qualifications before they hit the road. Each driver must have a clean driver's record. We don't hire anyone less than 25 years of age and they can never have been convicted of a DUI. Our vehicles must also pass random inspections and clear daily maintenance checks. By operating our own maintenance facility, any malfunctions that arise are quickly addressed and resolved. Our company can provide a new vehicle in tow with a turnaround of about 20 minutes. The safety of our customers and employees are of critical importance so these inspections are vital to our company.
