Express Medical Transporters (EMT) has signed on to provide door-to-door transportation for the paratransit system of the Pinellas Suncoast Transit Authority (PSTA). EMT will be one of three companies clients can choose for ambulatory transportation as part of PSTA's Demand Response Transportation (DART) program, which provides services for people who are unable to independently use the regular, accessible PSTA buses because of their disability. Express Medical Transporters (EMT) sent 12 volunteers to help answer phones at the Muscular Dystrophy Association (MDA) telethon in St. Louis Monday, Sept. 6. In addition to volunteering their time, EMT matched donations for 15 minutes during the show, donating more than $30,000. They also gave the MDA a check for $5,000. Read Article...
