The History of Express Medical Transporters, Inc.

Our drivers, and the drivers for our franchisees, are trained to assist non-emergency patients, who may be confined to wheelchairs or other mobility aids, to and from necessary medical appointments including dialysis, in getting home after a hospital stay or an emergency room visit. Our drivers, and our franchisees' drivers, are D.O.T. certified and trained in first aid and CPR. In addition, every driver is subject to random drug testing and extensive background checks to insure the highest level of care by our personnel. By being able to provide all types of vehicles including wheelchair accessible vans, minivans, sedans and even busses, Express Medical Transporters, or one of EMT USA's franchisees, can be your total transportation solution.

Express Medical Transporters, currently operates two customer service call centers. Both are open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. These centers service the greater St. Louis Metro area as well as Springfield, Missouri. We have over 350 accounts with area hospitals, medical clinics, nursing homes and doctor's offices in the St. Louis area alone. In addition, we are the largest for-profit transportation provider for all of the dialysis centers in the Metro St. Louis area. And, our affiliate plans to expand through independently owned and operated franchised offices. As franchised offices are open, services will be available in new areas. Since 1998, Express Medical Transporters has been the primary provider for transportation for one of the largest Medicare providers in St Louis with more than 40,000 members that are receiving 24 one way trips each year. We are also a major transportation provider for one of the largest hospital's in St Louis area, completing over 400 trips daily. We are one of the largest providers of Medicaid transportation in the metro area by completing thousands of trips per month and Express Medical Transporters, student transportation division provides services for more than twenty area school districts.
